Chaos. That’s what you have without laws to govern people.
But where do laws come from? How do lawmakers determine right from wrong?
The answer is that all laws are based on some kind of system of morality. In the United States, that system is the ten commandments of the Holy Bible, which was the primary source used by the writers of our constitution.
But if evolution was our creed, then how would we determine right from wrong? Who’s to say that one person’s version of right is better than another? Who’s to say that murder, or theft, or any other “crime” is wrong? With evolution, there is no standard to go by.
A good example of this is what happens after a natural disaster…looting, murder…chaos.
